Test anvil is used for checking instrument accuracy. Rebound hammer is shipped from factory with pre-inspection however the accuracy of instrument will be less and less while using for long term. You can test instrument accuracy before use. If the testing value is out of correct range, the test anvil inform you of the necessity of calibration or repair.
